What we collect

When you subscribe, we collect the email address you enter and basic technical information sent by your browser, such as IP address, device type, and referring page. If you arrive from an advertisement, we may also receive the campaign identifier associated with that ad.

How we use it

Your email address is used to send the daily alert, occasional service notices, and nothing else. Technical information is used to measure advertising performance, prevent abuse, and keep delivery reliable.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address. We do not share subscriber lists with third parties for their own marketing.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of vendors to operate the publication, including an email delivery platform, website hosting, and advertising and analytics platforms. These vendors process data only on our instructions and only as needed to provide their service.

Cookies

We use a limited set of cookies and similar technologies for site functionality and advertising measurement. You can block or delete them in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.

Your choices

Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may ask us not to sell or share it — we already do not. Residents of California, Colorado, Virginia, the EEA, and the UK have these rights by law, and we extend them to everyone.

Retention

We keep your email address while you are subscribed and for a short period afterward to honor unsubscribe requests, then delete it.

Children

The publication is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
